Where are my results?

If you're wondering where your SelfDecode results are, the answer depends on where you are in the process. Find your situation below for a quick answer.

I purchased a SelfDecode DNA kit and I'm waiting for results

DNA kit results typically take about 4 weeks after your sample reaches our lab. In some cases (if the lab is particularly busy or there are extenuating circumstances), it may take up to 6–8 weeks.

Here's how to check your status:

• Look for the tracking number that was emailed to you when your kit shipped. You can use it to confirm when your return sample was delivered to the lab.
• Once your results are ready, we'll send you an email notification — so keep an eye on your inbox (and spam/junk folders).

While you wait, you can get a head start by:

• Completing your Conditions & Goals Questionnaire to personalize your experience
• Filling out your Lifestyle Assessments
• Uploading any bloodwork results to the Labs Analyzer

By the time your DNA results are ready, we'll already have a detailed profile to give you the most personalized insights possible.

I uploaded a third-party DNA file and I'm waiting for results

If you uploaded a DNA file from another provider (like 23andMe, AncestryDNA, or MyHeritage), your results are typically available within a few hours of uploading. You'll receive an email notification when they're ready.

If it's been more than a few hours and you still don't see your results, try logging out and back in, or email us at support@selfdecode.com for help.

I had results before but now I can't find them

If you had a Legacy SelfDecode account (any account created before 2022) in the past but can't find your results, it's likely because your data hasn't been transferred to our current platform.

If you uploaded your own DNA file: You can simply login and re-upload it. Follow the instructions here: How to Upload Your DNA File to SelfDecode

If your DNA was tested through a SelfDecode kit: Please email us at support@selfdecode.com and we'll transfer your data to your current account.

My results are ready — where do I find them?

Once your results are available, log into your SelfDecode account and you'll have access to your reports and recommendations. Here's how to get the most out of them:

1. Download your Health Overview Report from the for a quick snapshot of your DNA results.
2. Generate your Action Plan for a personalized list of top recommendations tailored to you.
3. Explore your Health Reports to dive deeper into specific topics like sleep, gut health, mood, inflammation, and more.
4. Ask DecodyGPT — your AI health coach — any questions about your results for clear, easy-to-understand explanations.
