How long do DNA results take?

Once your sample arrives at our lab, results are typically ready within 2–3 weeks. We've worked hard to improve turnaround times—in the past, processing took 6–8 weeks, so you'll receive your results significantly faster.

Processing times can occasionally take longer during periods of high volume, holidays, or other unforeseen delays. In those cases, results may take up to 6–8 weeks. As soon as your results are ready, you'll receive an email notification, and you can log in and begin exploring your reports right away.

While You're Waiting

To get the most out of your results, we recommend preparing your health profile now:

• Upload any existing lab work
• Complete your questionnaires
• Fill out your Lifestyle Assessments

This helps us build a more complete health profile, so your insights and recommendations are ready as soon as your DNA results are released.

Tip: You can figure out when we received your sample by checking the tracking number of your return package on the courier's website. The tracking number was provided in an email when your kit was shipped. If you're not sure, email support@selfdecode.com and our Customer Support team will be happy to provide an estimate.
