How to find anything in your SelfDecode account

The fastest way to find anything in your SelfDecode account is to ask AI Hyperintelligence, your built-in AI tool. It has direct access to your genetic data, reports, labs, and lifestyle information, so it can answer your health questions in plain language — no searching required. You can also use the search tool to look things up manually.

Start with AI Hyperintelligence

AI Hyperintelligence reads across your entire profile at once, which is something the search tool can't do. Ask it to:

  • Explain what a specific gene, SNP, or report finding means for you
  • Summarize your risks in a health area — cardiovascular health, gut health, mood, and more
  • Give you personalized supplement, diet, and lifestyle recommendations based on your results
  • Pull insights from multiple reports, labs, and lifestyle data together
  • Help you prepare better questions for your doctor

How to open AI Hyperintelligence

  1. Log in to your SelfDecode account.
  2. Select AI Hyperintelligence from the navigation menu, or open it from your Dashboard. You can also go straight there: AI Hyperintelligence.
  3. Type your question in the text box, or click one of the four sample questions to get started.
  4. Ask follow-up questions to go deeper on any answer.

Tip: The more specific your question, the better your answer. Instead of "What supplements should I take?", try "Based on my cardiovascular health and my lab markers, what are my top 10 supplement recommendations and why?" For more examples, see our AI Prompt Guide.

Note: AI Hyperintelligence runs on a credit system, and each question uses a small amount of your balance. See AI Hyperintelligence Usage & Limits for details. Your data stays inside SelfDecode — nothing is shared with outside AI services.

How to use the search feature

Prefer to look something up yourself? The search tool gives you direct access to our database of health information.

  1. Log in to your SelfDecode account.
  2. Click the magnifying glass icon in the navigation panel.
  3. Type your topic in the text box. This can be a SNP, gene, health topic, symptom, or keyword.
  4. Press Enter to search.

  • Lab markers
  • Genes and SNPs

Tip: If your search results leave you with questions, copy your topic into AI Hyperintelligence and ask what it means for you specifically.
