How to Build Your Custom Meal Plan Using SelfDecode

SelfDecode makes it easy to create a personalized, gene-based meal plan customized for your health goals. You can build a new plan each week in just a few minutes.

Build Your Weekly Meal Plan

  1. Visit the Meal Plan page
  2. Choose your meals for Monday (breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner options)
  3. Click the i icon next to any meal to see the recipe, macro breakdown, and common allergens

Track Your Calories

Pay attention to the calorie counter at the bottom of the screen. Your suggested daily intake is based on your profile information and your goals for weight loss, maintenance, or gain. You can adjust your weight goals anytime on your Decody answers page.

Complete Your Weekly Plan

After selecting Monday's meals, you have two options:

  • Keep it simple: Select Apply to the rest of week to copy Monday's meals to the rest of the week
  • Add variety: Select Next: Tuesday to create different meals for each day

Once you've chosen all your meals for the week, select Finish.

Get Your Grocery List

You'll receive a precise grocery list with all the ingredients you need for the week—no more guessing how much to buy!

Review and Finalize

  1. Take time to review your meal choices for each day of the week
  2. Make sure you didn't miss any meals or days

Use the Mobile App

We recommend downloading the SelfDecode mobile app so you can pull up your meal plan, recipes, and grocery list on the go. Download from Google Play or the Apple App Store.
