How to build your custom Meal Plan using SelfDecode

Did you know that you can build a custom, gene-based meal plan using SelfDecode? This awesome feature makes it easy for you to create a healthy plan for your meals. You can come back to this feature time and time again to create a meal plan each week. 

Here's how to do it!

1. Select Action Plan > My Meal Plan from the top of the screen.

2. Choose your meals for Monday.

  1. Clicking on the i icon will open up the recipe, macro breakdown, and common allergens of that dish.

You can select as many breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner options as you'd like, but pay close attention the calorie counter at the bottom of the screen.

** Your suggested calorie intake is based on your profile information, as well as your goals for weight loss, maintenance, or gain. You can adjust your weight goals on your Decody answers page.

  1. If you like to keep your meal plan simple, you can copy your meal selections for this day to the rest of the week by selecting Apply to the rest of week! If you're someone who prefers a bit more variety (and you can't wait to try out the other recipes in the app!), you can select Next: Tuesday to continue building your meal plan for the rest of the week.
  1. Once you have finished choosing all your meals for the week, select Finish

You'll see a precise grocery list of all the items required for that week, so no more guessing how much of each ingredient you'll need!

  1. Take some time to review the meal choices for each day of the week. Now's a good time to ensure you didn't miss any days or meals!

  1. We recommend downloading our mobile app, so you can conveniently pull up your meal plan, recipes, and grocery list, even when you're on the go!
