PromicsEdge integrates with ChatGPT and Claude via MCP (Model Context Protocol), giving these AI assistants direct access to your clients' profiles — including genetic data, health reports, and lifestyle information — for personalized health insights.

Requirements

To use this feature you need:

  • An active PromicsEdge account
  • A paid subscription to the AI assistant you want to connect (ChatGPT Plus or Claude Pro)

  • Access a client's full profile — data from 200 million genetic variants and 1,500+ health reports — directly within ChatGPT or Claude
  • Ask follow-up questions, explore connections between health topics, and request explanations tailored to your practice
  • Use whichever AI assistant you prefer, or both

Is My Clients' Data Safe?

Yes. The MCP integration creates a secure, direct connection between your PromicsEdge account and your chosen AI assistant. Data sharing is fully optional, requires your explicit permission, and is limited to:

  • The active session only
  • The specific client in question
  • Only the data required to answer your prompts

Additional privacy options:

  • Use coded names (aliases) for clients for added protection
  • Review and adjust data-sharing settings in your ChatGPT or Claude account before connecting
  • Disconnect the integration at any time

Pricing

The AI assistant subscription (ChatGPT Plus or Claude Pro) is a third-party cost, currently around $20/month, and is not controlled by PromicsEdge.

On our end, the tool will be free to use during March, giving you plenty of time to explore it. After the trial period, there will be a small recurring fee per client (yet to be determined).
