How to add a client

PromicsEdge gives you two flexible ways to get clients started — you can manage everything for them directly, or simply share a link and let them handle checkout on their own. This guide walks you through both options so you can choose what works best for your practice.

Option A: Create a Client (You Pay)

This option is ideal for practitioners who:

  • Offer DNA testing as part of a larger wellness package
  • Prefer to cherry-pick specific reports to share with clients
  • Want to invoice clients separately and pay PromicsEdge directly
  • Are white-labeling reports for their practice

How It Works

  1. Go to your Main Dashboard and click Add Client.

A client creation checkout will appear

  1. Choose how you'd like to handle the DNA:
    • Send a kit — We ship a DNA kit directly to your client (drop shipping)
    • Use a pre-ordered kit — Register a kit you already have in your office
    • Upload a DNA file — Use an existing file from another provider (e.g., 23andMe, AncestryDNA)

  1. If ordering a DNA kit, enter your client's shipping country. You'll complete the full shipping address after checkout — only the country is needed for now. Your shipping fee will appear on the right-hand side of the checkout page.
  2. Confirm your payment information and complete checkout.

💡 Your DNA kit options will reflect the preferences you set during your first login. You can update your preferences anytime on your My Account page or when placing bulk kit orders.

Your Pricing

  • You receive a practitioner-exclusive discount of up to 32.5% off retail pricing
  • Bulk DNA kit orders qualify for up to 25% off

Things to Keep in Mind

  • You pay for your client's account — you control the cost and what's included
  • You retain access to your client's results indefinitely, unless you share full account access with them (see How to Share Results With Your Clients)
  • You set your own client-facing pricing and keep 100% of what you charge

This option is ideal for practitioners who want their clients to have full access to their own results with less administrative work. Your client handles checkout and shipping — you just share your link.

How It Works

  1. Go to your PromicsEdge dashboard and click Copy to generate your personal referral link.

  1. Share the link with your client via email, text, your website, or however you prefer.
  2. Your client clicks the link, chooses their bundle, and completes checkout.
  3. After sign-up, your client will receive a prompt to connect with your professional account — this allows you to view their results.

What Your Client Can Order

Clients can purchase DNA kits, health analysis bundles, and add-on reports through your referral link. Available bundles include the Essential, Essential+, and Ultimate Bundles.

Your Earnings

  • Your client automatically saves up to 10% at checkout
  • You earn a 25% commission on every sale
  • Commissions are paid out monthly

Things to Keep in Mind

  • Your client pays for their own account — there is no cost to you.
  • Each plan includes a one-year membership to SelfDecode. After the first year, a renewal fee is charged to your client to maintain access. They'll receive an auto-renewal reminder 30 days in advance so they have plenty of time to make changes.
  • There is no commission on renewal fees — commissions apply to the initial purchase only.
