How to add a client
Whether you’re referring clients via a link or managing everything for them directly, PromicsEdge gives you flexible options to fit your workflow. In this guide, we’ll walk you through both options so you can choose what works best for your practice.

Option A. Create a Client
The Pro pays on the client's behalf
This option is ideal for Pros who:
- Wish to offer DNA testing as part of a larger wellness package including other services.
- Prefer to cherry-pick specific reports to share with clients (this is available if you do not share the results with clients).
- Wish to invoice clients separately and pay us directly.
- Are white-labeling reports.
1. Go to your Main Dashboard and click Add Client.

2. Tell us whether you prefer us to send a DNA kit to your client (drop shipping), use a pre-ordered kit from your office, or upload a DNA file from another service:
Your DNA kit options will populate according to your preferences, which were selected when you logged in for the first time (as of March 6, 2025). You can edit your preferences at any time on your My Account page or when ordering DNA kits in bulk.
- If you are placing a DNA kit order, enter the client's Shipping Country.
- You will be prompted to enter the rest of the client's shipping address once your checkout is complete — for now, only the country is required. Your shipping fee will populate based on your selection on the right-hand side of the checkout page
- Confirm your payment information and complete your checkout.
Things to Keep in Mind
- You pay for your clients' account.
- You receive a practitioner-exclusive discount (usually 32.5%)
- You will retain access to your client's results indefinitely, unless you share full account access with them (See this article on sharing results with your clients)

Option B. Affiliate Link
Your client pays via your affiliate/referral link
This option is ideal for pros who want their clients to have full access to their results with less administrative work.
1. Simply select Copy to generate your custom referral link and send it to your clients.
Affiliate Link Pricing
Clients can order DNA kits, health analysis plans, and add-on reports seamlessly through your affiliate link. They will save up to 10% and you'll earn a 25% commission on every sale (paid out monthly).

Things to Keep in Mind
- Your client pays for their own account.
- Your client will automatically receive 10% off. You will earn a 25% commission from the sale.
- The client will receive a message to connect with your professional account after they sign up. This allows you to view their results.
- Each plan includes a one-year membership to SelfDecode. After the first year, a renewal fee of $119.88 will be charged to your client to maintain membership access. They will receive an auto-renewal reminder 30 days in advance to give them plenty of time to make changes.
- There is no commission on renewal fees.
