Do you test for Lyme Disease?

SelfDecode doesn't test directly for Lyme disease, but we do offer a Chronic Lyme DNA Biohacker Report that looks at your genetic susceptibility to developing chronic post-treatment symptoms of Lyme disease.

Understanding Genetic Susceptibility

Your risk of getting Lyme disease depends mainly on your chances of being bitten by an infected tick. The Chronic Lyme DNA Biohacker Report gives you insights into whether you're genetically susceptible to chronic post-treatment symptoms, so you can make informed decisions about prevention and monitoring.

How to Access Your Chronic Lyme Report

  1. Provide your DNA sample. If you haven't already, sign up for SelfDecode. Our Quick Start Guide walks you through the process.
  2. Receive your results. When your results are ready, you'll get an email notification.
  3. Review your report. Open your Biohacker Reports to find your Chronic Lyme DNA Biohacker Report and see your genetic predisposition.

Important Notes

Important: This report focuses on genetic susceptibility to chronic Lyme disease, not on diagnosing the disease itself. If you suspect you have chronic Lyme disease or are experiencing symptoms, consult a healthcare professional for testing, diagnosis, and treatment.

The report doesn't analyze every variant known to affect chronic Lyme. Other variants and non-genetic factors may also play a role.
