How to Share Your SelfDecode Results With Your Practitioner

You can share your SelfDecode results with your healthcare provider in two easy ways, depending on whether they use SelfDecode.

If your healthcare provider doesn't use SelfDecode, you can download and share a PDF of any of your reports directly with them.

Simply download a PDF of the reports you want to share following the instructions here, and send them to your provider.

If your provider wants a copy of your raw DNA data, you can download it as a .txt file using the instructions here.

Connect Directly Inside SelfDecode (If Your Practitioner Uses It)

If your healthcare provider already has a PromicsEdge account, you can securely share access to your data with them directly from your SelfDecode account. This is the easiest way to give your provider full visibility into your results.

They'll be able to:

View your DNA results
See uploaded lab results
Review your Action Plan, Meal Plans, and more
Add or update Action Plan items

They cannot access:

Billing information
Subscription details
Payment methods

You remain in full control of your account at all times.

How to Connect with Your Healthcare Provider

If You Have an Individual Plan

If you don't have a Family Plan, follow these steps to connect:

Hover over the stethoscope icon and select Connect with a professional.
Enter the email address your healthcare provider uses for their SelfDecode account (it may be different from their work email).
Review and agree to the terms. By selecting this box, you give SelfDecode explicit permission to share your data and personal information with the professional whose email you entered.
Click Connect to share your profile. Your provider will receive a notification next time they log in and will be able to view your results from their SelfDecode account.

If You Have a Family Plan

Select Pro next to the family member's name under Share With on your dashboard.
Enter your healthcare provider's email address—the one associated with their SelfDecode account.
Review and agree to the consent statement, then click Share Profile.
Your profile will be shared with your provider. They will receive a notification the next time they log in.
Your provider will receive a request that they need to approve before you are fully connected.
