What file formats do you accept?

SelfDecode accepts most standard raw DNA file formats, including .txt, .csv, .zip, and .gz files. For Dante Labs, Nebula Genomics, and other whole genome sequencing (WGS) files, we typically support the VCF file format.

Important compatibility notes

File format alone does not guarantee compatibility. DNA files can vary based on the testing company, chip version, and data structure. If you upload your file and receive an error, or if you are unsure whether your file is compatible, our support team can help.
