SelfDecode V4: Everything you need to know!
What is SelfDecode V4?
SelfDecode V4 is a complete rebuild of the SelfDecode platform, designed around an AI you can ask health questions in your own words — and get answers based on your own DNA and lab results. If you're already a member, V4 arrives in your account automatically at no cost. There's nothing to buy and nothing you need to do.
What's new in V4?
V4 is the biggest update in SelfDecode's history. Here's what it brings:
- Natural-language health questions. Ask about supplements, diet, disease risk, or anything else in your own words, and AI Hyperintelligence answers using your DNA and your uploaded blood work.
- Absolute risk scores. See your risk expressed as an absolute number, not just a comparison to other people.
- New prediction models for more accurate, more personalized results.
- New whole genome reports, including reports on how your genetics may affect your response to hundreds of medications.
- A redesigned dashboard that makes your reports and recommendations easier to navigate.
- A new SelfDecode mobile app, coming soon.
Do I have to pay for V4?
No. For existing members, V4 is a free, automatic upgrade. You keep your current subscription and everything you already have unlocked, and you won't be charged anything for the upgrade.
If you received an email about prices going up, that message was aimed at people making a new purchase, such as an additional DNA kit, a whole genome scan upgrade, or a gift for someone else. If that doesn't apply to you, no action is needed.
I have a lifetime membership. Does V4 affect me?
Your lifetime membership is unaffected. You keep your lifetime access (Health Reports with no recurring subscription), and V4 upgrades your account at no cost. The platform simply gets better.
When does V4 launch?
V4 is very close, but we haven't announced a specific launch date yet. When it goes live, it rolls out to your account automatically — you won't need to install or activate anything.
The mobile app is also coming soon. We'll announce both once we have firm dates.
What's changing on August 28?
On August 28, 2026, the prices of our subscription bundles and whole genome packages increase. For current pricing, please visit selfdecode.com or contact us at support@selfdecode.com.
To be clear about what this does and doesn't affect:
- V4 itself comes at no additional cost for existing members. The August 28 change only applies to new purchases.
- We don't have a subscription renewal price increase planned at this time. If we do change renewal pricing, we'll communicate it to you directly.
- If you purchase before August 28, you pay today's price on the bundle you buy, and V4 is included at no extra cost. Bundles in this promotion also include a free consultation with our team to help you put your results to work.
Does buying now lock in my price forever?
Buying before August 28 locks in today's price on the bundle you purchase. That's a one-time purchase price rather than a permanent guarantee on future renewals or future products.
Should I wait for V4 before I buy?
There's no need to wait. Anything you buy now works with V4 when it arrives, and buying before August 28 means you pay today's price.
Is my data safe with V4's AI?
Yes. The AI in V4 is our own, and your data never leaves our platform — we don't send it to any outside AI provider. We follow HIPAA and GDPR policies, use world-class encryption, and we never share your data.
