The search tool gives you instant access to the entire SelfDecode database — making it easy to look up genes, SNPs, lab markers, health topics, and more while reviewing your clients' results or preparing for a session.

How to Search

1. Click the blue magnifying glass icon on the navigation panel.
2. Type your search term into the text box that appears. You can search for a gene name, SNP (rs number), health topic, symptom, lab marker, or any keyword.
3. Press Enter to view your results.

Results are returned instantly from across the entire database.

What You Can Find

The search tool pulls results from:

• Health Reports — Find reports related to a specific condition, symptom, or health topic
• Genes & SNPs — Look up individual genes or SNP rs numbers to view your client's genotype and associated research
• Lab Markers — Search for bloodwork markers to cross-reference with your client's uploaded lab results
• Health Conditions & Symptoms — Explore what SelfDecode covers for a specific condition your client is asking about
• Blog Articles & Research — Access educational content and supporting research on any topic
