How to create a gene pack

Gene Packs

Gene Packs let you save groups of related genes and SNPs into custom collections, so you can quickly access the variants that matter most for your practice. Whether you're building a panel for methylation, detox, cardiovascular health, or any other focus area — Gene Packs keep everything organized and easy to find.

How to Create a Gene Pack

  1. Search for the gene or SNP using your PromicsEdge Search Tool
  2. Once you're on the gene or SNP page, select the layered icon next to the SNP or gene name to add it to a Gene Pack:

  1. Enter the Gene Pack name and description, then Add to Pack.
  2. Repeat for any additional genes or SNPs you'd like to include.

How to Access Your Gene Packs

To view or manage your saved Gene Packs, visit the SNPs & Genes page.

From here, you can review all of your saved packs, add new genes, or view your client's relevant SNP data within each pack.

💡 Ways to Use Gene Packs

  • Build condition-specific panels: Group genes related to methylation, detox, inflammation, hormones, or any area you specialize in
  • Streamline client reviews: Instead of searching for individual genes each time, pull up a pre-built pack and review all relevant variants at once
  • Standardize your workflow: Create go-to Gene Packs that you use across multiple clients for consistent analysis
