Created Clients vs. Connected Clients
There are two types of client profiles on SelfDecode Pro — we'll explain the difference below:
Created Client
- When you add a new client via the Register A Client method, they will appear on your pro account as a Created Client. You will see the word Connect in blue to the right of their name. Avoid connecting the client if you do not want them to have access via their own account (Pro Connect only).
- Client credits, which are purchased, are used to add Created Clients (Pro Paid only).
- DNA results cannot be shared with a Created Client via SelfDecode; results can only be shared externally via PDF reports, which must be generated and forwarded by the pro.
Connected Client
- When you pay on behalf of a client using the Register A Client method, you have the option to connect your client and set them up with their own account! Just select Connect to the right of their name, and they'll be sent an invite.
- When a client purchases their own account through your unique referral link, they become Connected Client. This means the client has access to their own SelfDecode account.
- DNA reports, Action Plans, etc. are easily shared with the client; clients have access to their own results via SelfDecode.
Created Client vs. Connected Client
Created Client | Connected Client | |
How Do I Add The Client? |
|
|
Access | Clients do not have access to the results digitally. Results can be shared externally via PDF reports only. | Both you and the client will have digital access to the results once connected. |
Adding Lab Results | You will be responsible for uploading lab test results. | You or your client may add the lab test results. |
Type of client | Suited for clients who may feel overwhelmed with the data and/or need more guidance in understanding their results. | Suited for more autonomous clients. They want to explore reports themselves while receiving your guidance. |
Private Messaging / File Sharing | Not available. Reports can be shared with your clients in the form of downloaded PDFs. | You can securely message and share files with your clients within SelfDecode. |
