Created Clients vs. Connected Clients
There are two types of client profiles on SelfDecode Pro — we'll explain the difference below:
Created Client
- Client credits are used to create a Created Client profile on the pro account.
- DNA results cannot be shared with a Created Client via SelfDecode; results can be shared only via PDF reports, which must be shared externally.
Connected Client
- When you pay on behalf of a client using the Register A Client method, or when a client orders through your unique referral link, those profiles become Connected Client accounts. This means the client has access to their own SelfDecode account.
- DNA reports, Action Plans, and more can easily be shared from within the professional account, via SelfDecode.
Created Client vs. Connected Client
Created Client | Connected Client | |
How Do I Add The Client? | Purchase and redeem client credits |
|
Access | Clients do not have access to the results digitally. Results can be shared via PDF reports only. | Both you and the client will have digital access to the results. |
Adding Lab Results | You will be responsible for uploading lab test results. | You or your client may add the lab test results. |
Type of client | Suited for clients who may feel overwhelmed by 650+ reports, and/or need more guidance in understanding their results. | Suited for clients that are more autonomous. They want to explore reports themselves while receiving your guidance. |
Private Messaging / File Sharing | Not available. Reports can be shared with your clients in the form of downloaded PDFs. | You can securely message and share files with your clients within SelfDecode. |
