PromicsEdge multi-factor authentication
Protecting sensitive client health data is one of our top priorities at SelfDecode. As a professional user, enabling multi-factor authentication (MFA) is a simple but powerful way to add an extra layer of security to your account.
With MFA, you’ll sign in using your email and password as usual, but you’ll also need to confirm your login with a code from your registered email address. This ensures that even if your password is compromised, only you can access your professional dashboard and client data.
General Guidelines
- MFA is strongly recommended for all PromicsEdge accounts.
- You’ll need access to your email address on file to complete setup.
- Once enabled, MFA will be required every time you log in to your SelfDecode Pro account.
- If you lose access to your email address, you’ll need to contact support to regain account access.
In the steps below, we’ll walk you through how to enable MFA, with screenshots to guide you at each stage.
- When you login, you'll see the option to Enable Multi-Factor Authentication:
- Select Enable MFA to finish setting up your account, or Skip for now if you're not ready for this yet. You'll be prompted to set up your MFA the next time you login.
- Check your inbox for your verification code:
- Enter your verification code on the SelfDecode webpage:
- Select Submit
- Your MFA verification will be granted, and you'll gain access to your account:
