Granting Former Clients Account Access
If you and your client are no longer working together, and they now want access to their own DNA results via SelfDecode, you can easily send them access to their own results right on your dashboard.
If you connect and share results with your client, ownership of their account and subscription will transfer to them. The client will then need to pay a renewal fee ($120/year) to maintain access to their results when the subscription expires.
Here are the steps:
- Login and visit your My Clients page
- Locate the client, and select Client under the 'Share With' column
- You'll be asked to confirm their email address, and then the request will be sent to their email
- Your client will open the email and set their own password for their account — then, they will be the account owner instead of you
Note: The client's subscription begins on the date you created their profile. It does not begin on the date you share access.
- If you connect your client less than one year from the creation date, they'll still have paid access to their results before the subscription expires (1 year duration).
- If you connect with your client more than one year after creation, they will need to renew their subscription ($120) before gaining access to the results.
Remember, as a PromcsEdge provider, you retain access to your client’s results indefinitely, with no annual fees. The cost only incurs if you connect with the client thus transfering ownership to them. In that case, your client will be responsible for paying the renewal fee to maintain access for both of you.
